We had an amazing stay in a lovely B&B with friendly owners who served a delicious breakfast. the B&B was perfectly situated in the heart of town on a huge property, surrounded by a beautiful garden filled with birds. We enjoyed exploring the neighborhood of Montagu and going on local hikes. Our spacious room was clean and modern, with thoughtful touches like a small torch and an umbrella. the ensuite bathroom was well-appointed. We also enjoyed dining at the neighboring restaurant, Mystic Meg, which served fantastic Karoo Lamb curry.
We did miss having a TV in our room.

Absolutely first class breakfast including home made bread; a welcoming hostess who provided free bottled drinking water for us to take on a walk and lent us her towels to take to a nearby spa, both free of charge; helpful advice about places to go and to eat; a quirky and intesting, as well as comfortable, room; a little different from the run of the mill B&B

I had a fantastic stay in this hotel. The location in a wonderful garden in the centre of this city was absolutely beautiful. I loved being surrounded by nature and the peacefulness of the mountains. Plus, the hotel was conveniently located in the town centre, making it easy to explore and visit nearby attractions. There were also several good restaurants for dinner just a short walk away, which was a major plus. The cleanliness of the hotel was impeccable, and the staff went above and beyond to ensure that everything was spotless. The hotel facilities were also top-notch, with a lovely swimming pool that was a great way to relax after a long day of exploring. Lastly, the breakfast provided by the hotel was delicious and a great way to start the day.
Couldn't find any faults at all.

It is a lovely bed and breakfast in a nice classic house with all perfectly decorated. Nice pool and nice services with the right dinner tips. We stayed in one of the two separate rooms/houses which was very convenient. We did some nice hiking in the beautiful area.

The staff is excellent. The location is perfect since it is in the middle of the center of Montagu. Staff is helpfull is booking elsewhere if you travel more and the breakfast was great. Everything was fresh.
We stayed in one of the older rooms. That was a bit noisy, since the woodenfloors are old and the walls are not so thick. The beds where hard. The newer rooms outside in the garden are absolutelly beautifull and comfortable.

I recently had the pleasure of staying at this luxurious hotel. The location was perfect, nestled in beautiful gardens and close to the main area of town. From the moment I arrived, the staff went above and beyond to ensure my comfort and satisfaction. The housekeeping service was impeccable, and the room was well-appointed with all the amenities I needed. I particularly enjoyed relaxing on the terrace and patio, and the garden furniture provided a tranquil setting to unwind. The swimming pool was a welcome retreat, and the sun loungers offered the perfect spot to soak up the sun. The Wi-Fi was reliable, and the on-site car park provided convenience and security.
Highly recommended to all.

Wonderful warm reception which made us feel very much at home. The garden room was delightful and of a very high standard. The main house is beautifully decorated and is over 100 years old. Pool well maintained. Excellent location with good choice of local restaurants near by. Route 62 is just amazing and Montague voted best village in South Africa, felt very safe.

We spent our New Year at a charming historical guest house. The breakfast had a great variety, including fresh fruits and delicious hot dishes. The location was ideal, very close to shops and restaurants. we enjoyed the peaceful garden and lovely swimming pool.
The shower in our room needed some updating, but it didn't affect our overall stay too much. , we would have appreciated better lighting in the bathroom for putting in contact lenses.
